Do You Have a Millionaire Mind?

This was my second time attending T. Harv Eker's powerful 3-Day workshop -The Millionaire Mind Intensive. It was great review, I got several new insights and distinctions, and I had a blast connecting with new and old friends.

Out of over 1,000 participants, my friends won a free workshop from the raffle. Johnny & Lara Fernandez are also powerful trainers that help people find their divine right love partner.

At the beginning of the workshop, the trainer asked everyone where we were from. One man from New Zealand stood up, and I was delighted to see that it was my friend, Craig Stokes. What are the odds that we would run into ANOTHER Craig Stokes at the workshop? Here I am with Craig Stokes and Craig Stokes... in stereo!

There were a whole bunch of Rejuvenate Training grads and students at the workshop, and we were fortunate enough to take this picture with T. Harv Eker of Peak Potentials Training.

By the way, if you've been to my Getting Started in Real Estate Investing workshop and are looking for innovative ways of creating passive income in addition to real estate investing, Peak Potentials has a HOT ambassador program. I highly recommend you attend the Millionaire Mind Intensive and sign up as an ambassador to get commissions when you refer your friends.

(P.S. My ambassador number is 647962 - use that number when you register, assuming you want me to get credit for referring you.)

I was debating whether or not to go to this workshop again, and in the end, I'm so glad I decided to go.

90 Days to Your First Deal Celebration Dinner

Our fabulous group of investors traveled far and wide to connect and celebrate over a delicious dinner at my favorite Italian restaurant. It was moving to see people take on 3 hours of driving just to come and connect with each other. I was impressed to hear about all the deals that people in the group were working on!

Memorial Day Weekend Adventure

I didn't have any particular plans for Memorial Day weekend. I was considering just renting movies, hanging out with my family, and catching up on some projects. Then I realized that it was almost halfway through 2008, and I hadn't been on any adventures yet.

So I decided to go "somewhere." I called my travel agent to see if there were any last minute deals since I didn't have a particular destination in mind. Then I made a list of places I thought would be interesting to visit.

Sequoia National Park was high on my list. It had been on my list of places I wanted to go for over four years. I spontaneously decided that this Memorial Day weekend was the perfect time to go.

On Thursday night, I called practically every hotel, lodge, campsite, and inn to find a room for the following nights. One man actually said, "for this weekend? Are you kidding?" At 11:00 pm on Thursday night, Lucy from the Ben Maddox House called me back to say that she had had a cancellation and now had a room available.

And the adventure began...

Here I am in front of the Ben Maddox House Bed & Breakfast. After a 4 hour drive to Visalia, I arrived around 10 pm on Friday night. Lucy welcomed me with a glass of wine and a sampling of local cheeses.

Hanging out with Lucy in the front room. Usually I have a green smoothie for breakfast, but Lucy's blueberry french toast was too good to pass up.

My primary intention in embarking on this adventure was to see the giant sequoia redwood trees. The General Sherman tree in Sequoia National Park is the largest tree in the world. I did see General Sherman as well as other huge redwood trees, like the one in this picture. However, since it was foggy and cold in the park, I only spent a few hours there then decided to explore other areas...

This is one of the many lovely murals in the cute town of Exeter.

In Visalia, I saw a brochure for a place called Cat Haven, a wilderness park dedicated to the preservation of wild cats. I love big cats. Here I am connecting with a cloud leopard. I had never seen a cloud leopard so clearly or so close before.

Here's a fun picture of the cloud leopard. I wish I could have recorded the funny sounds he was making.
I felt lucky to meet Dale Anderson, Founder & Director of Cat Haven.

So my spontaneous trip to see the giant sequoias evolved into so much more. The whole experience was a good lesson in being flexible and open to anything.

This group of investors was a lot of fun. Here they are taking a break from class for a massage line.

Prosperity Retreat in Angel's Camp

This weekend was a great mix of real estate strategy and adventure. Some of us even braved the zip line for the first time.

Real Estate Rock Star

Rick is one of my rock star clients - he recently completed my 90 Days to Your First Deal program, bought a house for $9,000 (NOT the downpayment... $9,000 was the whole purchase price!), and put $20k of repairs into it, bringing it up to a value of $55,000 - $60,000. Now he can sell it at a profit or keep it for cashflow.

But not only is he a rock star in real estate, he is a true ROCK STAR!

I got to see him rock out at the party he held at his new studio. He also brought some of his guitar students up on stage to show off. For my friends in the Bay Area that want to learn how to play the guitar, Rick is The Man. These kids were awesome!

Rick had just been to New Orleans so he brought back Mardi Gras beads and made gumbo for everyone. Here he is with one of his students.

Spring 90 Day Launch Weekend

The fabulous spring 90 Days to Your First Deal group is officially launched and off to a brilliant start. (Back to Front, Right to Left: Paul, Dave, Chantal, Marcus, Gary, William, Caroline, Miss Paula, Lisa, Rohan, Adriana, Catherine, PJ, & CJ).

Real Prosperity's head coach, Joy Broughton, joins me to get to know the new investors that she will be coaching.

Games are a fabulous learning tool (plus, they're FUN), and Robert Kiyosaki's game, CA$HFLOW 101, is one of my all time favorites. In this workshop, we learned how to play the game in a whole new way... just a taste of how we can play the game in real life over the next 90 days.

My Beautiful New Logo!

I LOVE this logo!

My amazing Director of Seminars, Kim, posted a logo contest on Sitepoint, and that's how we found Kylie, the graphic designer of my dreams. She thought "The Prosperity Queen" moniker was funny so I decided to call her "The Design Diva."

Anyway, after about a million variations on a totally different theme, Kylie came up with this logo out of the blue. It was a total "Zing" for me the instant I saw it. I spent a few weeks telling myself that it wasn't appropriate for a seminar company that teaches about real estate investing. Then I got over it. I love it. That's what matters.

Prosperity Retreat - Winter in Windsor

What a wonderful, wild weekend! The group connected at a whole new level. As one participant commented, "this is the most fun I've had since the last retreat!"

Everyone braved the elements to drive to Windsor, CA in a winter storm, and we all made it safely. The super-plushy units and warm fire were extremely inviting, especially after the epic journey. Here are Kim & Luane, happy to be warm & cozy at last.

Kim worked miracles and arranged for nutritionist & whole foods chef Jennifer Brewer join us in Windsor as our personal chef for the weekend. Even the carnivores in the group enjoyed her nourishing vegetarian meals.

Jen surprised and delighted us with fancy snacks in addition to fabulous meals. One day it was homemade scones straight out of the oven, and the next day it was fresh fruit dipped in warm chocolate. Yum!

Playing the Abounding River Game... learning a lot about ourselves and each other. We'll never look at a tuna sandwich the same way again - that's for sure!

Doreen, sharing her vision board with the group.

This was the first workshop I led since I met with Jennifer Butler, so it was the perfect opportunity to debut my new wardrobe. Pre-Jennifer, it would never have occurred to me to wear this outfit. Now, I love it.

Here is our uber-hot group with vision boards (Back Row: Kim, Luane, & Pat. Front Row: Doreen, Devin, PJ, Pamela, Heather & Kristi).

Wow, as I read over this post it seems like all we did was play and eat.

We also learned a lot about real estate investing & prosperity consciousness, too. Really. I promise.

And on Sunday, we had our super mastermind session to create each participant's action plan for the next 90 days.

What Do The Colors You Wear Communicate?

When I saw how Jennifer Butler transformed the image of my friend, Sharla Jacobs (of Rejuvenate Training), I couldn’t wait to have a consultation myself!

I was totally confused about what my colors were. Was I an “Autumn?” Was I a “Winter?”

Below is a picture of Jennifer with me and my beautiful unique color palette. I’m so excited that purple is one of my colors!

According to Jennifer, the natural coloring of your hair, eyes and skin not only determines what colors to wear but also reveals a lot about your personality.

To find out more about what type I am and what that says about me, read on…

Here’s an excerpt from Jennifer’s website that explains more about what she does:

"See how your clothes can be more than a collection of colors and fabrics – a true expression of your genuine essence and personality. See how your “style” can powerfully impact how the world interprets who you are and what you are up to.

Up to 55% of communication is visual. In order to be seen and heard 100% there must be congruence between your inner self, your message, and your external presentation."

Naturally, I was fascinated. Of course I wanted my outsides to match my insides.

So here’s what I found out…

I’m what Jennifer calls an “Exotic Winter.”

Here’s what she says about the Winter personality on her website:

"Dramatic, the observer, reflection. Striking, timelessness, awe inspiring, silhouette, silence.

In the Winter personality we see outer containment, contrasted with the exciting inner dynamic. Winters are abstract thinkers who love culture and the arts, and who represent our finest values in life. Winters are known for being distinguished and for distinguishing themselves, often in the arts and in the art of fine living. The Winter personality is calm and sometimes distant or removed, but with an inner excitement.

The Winter woman is the priestess and moon goddess. Winter women have the ability to deliver the abstractions of life, which are fine values, high principles and masterful living. Jackie Onassis and Peggy Fleming are good of examples of the Winter woman."

Awe inspiring… goddess… masterful living… sounds good to me!

Did I mention that I’m SO HAPPY that PURPLE is in my color palette?
